The Animal Barn at Attwell Farm Park is the heart of the farm, where visitors can get up close to our friendly farm animals!
🐴 Horses & Ponies – During the summer, our equines enjoy the paddocks overnight and come inside to escape the heat and flies during the day. In the winter, they stay snug in the barn.
🐷 Pigs – Watch them snooze in their straw beds or enjoy a tasty snack.
🦙 Llamas & Alpacas – These fluffy residents love meeting visitors!
🐐 Goats & More! – Say hello to our cheeky goats, playful donkeys, and other barnyard friends.
🐮 Our Milking Cow – Learn about traditional dairy farming with our resident cow.
🚜 The Tractor! - A favourite with visitors!
❄️ Winter: In the colder months, the Animal Barn becomes a warm and bustling hub, as all of our animals from the Paddock Walk move inside for shelter. It’s the perfect place to see the whole farm up close and learn about how we care for them in winter.
🌞 Summer: When the warmer months arrive, most of our animals head out to the paddocks to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine. Because of this, the barn may appear a little quieter at times, but you can still find some of our residents relaxing inside, especially on hotter days when they seek shade.
The Animal Barn is the perfect place to get up close to our animals, learn about their care, and experience the charm of farm life firsthand. Don’t forget to take some photos with your favourite furry (or feathery) friends!
