How to Book: Everything you need to know


All our Birthday Party Bookings are made online using our online booking portal. 

Simply follow the following steps & guidance below to book your party at the Farm. if you have any questions please contact our office on info@attwellfarmpark.co.uk or 01527 66191

1. Select the Date of your Party using our interactive calendar.

2. Select your Party start time. 

We run 2 x Parties a day:

Morning Party - 10:30am to 12:30pm

or

Afternoon Party - 14:00pm to 16:00pm


*Once your party has ended, you and your guests are welcome to stay in the farm for the rest of the day until we close, you will only need to vacate the party room*

Your next step is to select how many Child guests will be attending the party. The Minimum is 10 children. The maximum is 35 children. *A Minimum of 10 children is required at the point of booking, you will then have up to 48 hours before the party begins to add any additional guests to the guestlist.*

*If you have more than 35 children wanting to attend the party, please contact the office so we can do our best to accommodate*

*The Minimum Payment for a party is the Equivalent of 10 Participating Party Children. you can have less than 10 children attending the party, However the payment will be the equivalent of 10.

Adult Entry to the Party - You get 1 x Free Adult Entry per Participating Child Party Guest, And the birthday child gets 2 x Free Adults to attend the party.

*Any additional adults attending the party will pay standard admission prices.* You can choose to pay for the additional adults that turn up on the day, or they can pay themselves upon entry at the ticket office

All Participating Child Guests will need to be confirmed no later than 48 hours before the party starts. Any Additional Participating Party Child Guests that arrive on the day that are not on the guestlist will have to pay the full admission price at the ticket office and will only have a limited option for food available as we cannot guarantee that we can cater for their specific dietary requirements at such late notice.

Additional Guest Tickets

Select any additional guests that will be attending the party. *Nonparticipating guests will have entry to the farm and party room, but don’t have any of the party package extras such as “Party Food, Animal Food & a Return Pass” it is simply entry to the Farm.

Each participating child will receive a Bongo’s Party Lunchbox. Additional guests are welcome to purchase items from Farmer Jo’s Kitchen, where we offer a variety of hot and cold food options.

Once your party is confirmed you will have access to your Party Portal, where you can edit your guestlist. When you add a participating child guest, it will give you an option to add a sandwich choice, followed by a declaration for any allergies or dietary requirements for the specific child.

As our Terms & Conditions State: If you have not entered the food options or allergy & dietary information for your guests 48 hours before your party booking, we will default to a mix of Ham and Cheese sandwiches to the number of participating guests on your booking at the 48-hour mark, Any additional food will have to be purchased from Farmer Jo's Kitchen on the day, unless you provide your own catering. Hosted Party Package – Host & Animal Tour


Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hour

With this experience, upon your arrival at the ticket office, one of our outstanding party hosts will warmly welcome you and take you to your designated party room, they will then assist in guiding your guests to the Party room as they arrive to ensure everyone is here so we can start the fun without any hiccups.

Once all your guests have gathered, your Party Host will provide a brief introduction and a comprehensive health and safety briefing. Following this, an exciting tour of the farm park's diverse animal inhabitants will commence. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to interact with a wide range of animals, from donkeys and alpacas to the playful pygmy goats. You can also feed these friendly creatures along the way, using the animal feed provided as part of your party package.

The tour concludes in the petting Barn, where you and your guests can engage in a hands-on session with the resident animals. After this delightful experience, you'll be directed to our convenient hand-washing facilities before returning to your party room for food and festivities.

At this point, your Party Host will bid you farewell, but not before ensuring that you have all you need. They will provide you with a knife for cutting the cake, a lighter for igniting the candles, and double-check your food orders and any additional requests to ensure a seamless and enjoyable remainder of your party.

After selecting all the details for your birthday party, take a moment to review the order summary to ensure everything is correct. Next, proceed to make a deposit for 10 children.

Please note that when booking, a non-refundable deposit for 10 participating children is required. The remaining balance will be charged to the same credit/debit card used during booking, 48 hours prior to the start of your party. This 48-hour mark is also the deadline for submitting your guest list and food orders. Once this time has passed, your booking will be locked, and no further edits can be made.

Once you have paid your deposit, all you’ll need to do is sit back, relax, and wait for your confirmation email.

Once your party is officially confirmed, you will receive an email confirmation, which will also include Attwell Farm Park-themed party invitations as an optional addition for your use.

Additionally, you'll receive an email granting you access to your Birthday Party Booking, allowing you to effortlessly manage your guest list. You have a window of up to 48 hours to gather all the necessary information to ensure the smooth running of your party.

Please note, dishes made by attwell farm ltd are all produced in an environment which handles all fourteen allergens including gluten. let staff know if you have any allergies when ordering. We will try our best to ensure no cross contamination from allergens occur, but unfortunately, we can never guarantee.

When you host a Bongo's Birthday Bash at the Farm, we strive to offer a truly unique experience. You'll have the opportunity to enter the farm up to 30 minutes before your party's scheduled start time, giving you the freedom to decorate and set up the space according to your preferences. The room is adorned with charming fairy lights and bunting, and it features rustic farm benches and tables. We've even equipped the room with a Bluetooth surround sound system, complete with a preset child-friendly party playlist. However, you can also use your own phone or bring a USB with your chosen music.

Here's a checklist of items to bring with you (Optional) :

When to tell the guests to arrive?

Your party will start on time, regardless of whether your guests are here or not. As the party host, you can gain access to your party room 30 minutes prior to the start time to decorate and set up where necessary. Your guests need to be here either on time, or 15 minutes prior to your party start time. This allows you to make the most of your party.

What happens on the day?


DIY PARTY PACKAGE


During your two-hour party slot, you have the freedom to shape your party as you prefer. You can choose to stay in the room and enjoy time with your guests, indulge in playful activities like jumping and sliding in the play areas, or explore the farm at your own pace, meeting and feeding the animals.

Your party food and extras will be prepared and ready for you in your room.

Upon entry you will be given a map and advice from a member of the team on how your party can run. A member of the team will also provide you with a knife to cut your cake and lighter to light your candles.

When your party ends, we politely ask that you put your rubbish in the bins provided.

You and your guests are then welcome to continue enjoying the farm park and its facilities until we close at 6:00PM.

With the 'Meet the Bugs' Option

If you choose the "Meet the Bugs" Experience in addition to the Animal Tour and Small Animal Handling experience, simply allow an extra 15 minutes for the tour. This will leave you with approximately 45 minutes remaining to enjoy food and festivities in your designated party room.

For those who opt solely for the "Meet the Bugs" Experience, your party journey begins at the ticket office. One of our friendly party hosts will warmly welcome you, escort you to your assigned party room, and address any questions you may have. They will then return to the ticket office and assist in guiding your arriving guests to the party room, ensuring everyone is present and ready to start the fun without any delays.

Once all your guests have gathered, your Party Host will provide a brief introduction and a thorough health and safety briefing. Following this, you and your guests will embark on an interactive session in the Bug Barn, where you'll discover fascinating facts about the farm's insects.

After the 15-minute bug encounter, you'll head to the hand wash facilities, where your party host will bid you farewell. From there, you are free to continue with your party as you wish for the remainder of the 2-hour time slot.

DO YOU PROVIDE A CAKE, KNIFE AND CANDLES?


We do not provide a birthday cake or candles. This is your responsibility.  we provide the necessary knife and lighter for your cake-cutting & Candle lighting convenience.

CAN WE HAVE OTHER GUESTS, SIBLINGS AND EXTRA ADULTS?


Certainly, you can invite extra nonparticipating guests to the party. You have several options for accommodating them:

- You can include them in your booking before the 48-hour cutoff.

- You can pay for them on the day of the party.

- Alternatively, they can pay for themselves upon entry to the farm.

Please ensure that you inform your guests about our policy, which requires additional guests not on the guest list to pay the standard admission price for that day.

Each participating child is entitled to have one free accompanying adult with their entry, In cases where additional guests arrive with participating guests at the ticket office, we will communicate with you in advance. We'll discuss whether you'd like to cover the cost for these additional guests or if you prefer them to pay for themselves. This approach helps avoid any confusion or uncomfortable situations.

For instance, if a participating child arrives with two adults, one of those adults will be required to pay the standard entry price.

It's important to note that additional nonparticipating child guests won't receive the same extras as party children, including food, animal feed, a free adult, and a return pass. They will simply pay for entry to the farm and can join the tour and experiences, but the extras won't be available to them.

DO WE HAVE EXCLUSIVE USE OF THE AREAS IN THE FARM PARK?


If you book a Party room party, you have exclusive use of the party room for your time slot. Be it between 10:30am to 12:30pm or 14:30pm to 16:30pm. The rest of the farm park is open to the public as normal.

DO CHILDREN UNDER 2 COUNTS AS GUESTS, IN REGARD TO NUMBERS?


If you want an Under 2 to take part in the birthday party, you will need to pay the participating child price. It's important to note that nonparticipating child guests won't receive the same extras as party children, including food, animal feed, a free adult, and a return pass. They will simply pay for entry to the farm and can join the tour and experiences, but the extras won't be available to them.

The Minimum charge for a party at the farm is the equivalent to 10 x participating children, if your children are all under the age of 2, you would still need to pay this cost to host a party at the farm.

It's essential to be aware that if a non-participating child under 2 attends the party, they won't be eligible for a free adult ticket. In such cases, the accompanying adult would need to pay the standard entry price.

WHEN DO YOU NEED TO KNOW NUMBERS AND A SANDWICH ORDER BY?


Please ensure that all necessary information for your party is uploaded to the online portal no later than 48 hours prior to the start of your event. The online portal will automatically lock at the 48-hour mark and will charge any additional costs accordingly at that point. It is crucial that you provide us with your Guest List, Sandwich Order, as well as any Allergies and Dietary Requirements within this timeframe.

Kindly note that it is your responsibility to supply us with this information. Failure to provide a sandwich order or guest list before your party start time will result in us being unable to prepare your food, and your party will be arranged based on the information available on your guest list. Your guest list will be automatically processed and confirmed at the 48-hour mark prior to your party's commencement. Please ensure that you have gathered all the necessary details before this deadline.

WHEN DO WE PAY?


Upon booking your party, a deposit for 10 children is required. The remaining balance will be automatically deducted 48 hours prior to the start of your event using the bank card used at the point of booking, but you also have the option to make this payment earlier if you prefer. 

In the event of a declined payment method and no communication from you before the day of your party, your reservation will be cancelled, and the non-refundable deposit will not be reimbursed. Birthday Party Terms and Conditions


Here you will find all the terms and conditions for birthday parties at Attwell Farm Park. Please read them carefully before booking a birthday party. Every party must comply with all entry terms, pricing conditions, and rules, as well as the following additional terms:

  • Once you have booked your party and your deposit has been taken, you will need to wait for confirmation (this usually takes 24hours, our offices are closed on weekends, so if you book a party over the weekend, it will not be confirmed until the Monday) Once your booking has been confirmed you will be able to enter your Guest details and edit your party details up to 48 hours . No party is confirmed until you receive an email stating that it has been confirmed. Money will be refunded if your chosen date is not available.
  • The Birthday child gets 2 adults free with their booking. All other participating children will get 1 x free adult. Any additional guests will pay standard entry prices.
  • Once your party is confirmed you will have access to your Party Portal, where you can edit your guestlist.   • A 10-child non-refundable deposit is required at point of booking. All remaining payments will be made 48 hours before the party begins, on the same card you used to book the party. In the event of a declined payment method and no communication from you before the day of your party, your reservation will be cancelled, and the non-refundable deposit will not be reimbursed.   • We kindly ask that you make sure the party room is free of any rubbish before your departure. Bins will be provided for your convenience. Prior Notification will be given before charges occur.
  • Memberships – Memberships do not include parties; you will need to pay the standard party prices.
  • Party schedules and other documents are accessible on confirmation of booking – these are subject to changes without notice.
  • All parties involved agree to adhere to our Health & Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct. Any violations of our terms and conditions or any mistreatment towards our staff, animals, facilities, or members of the public will result in the immediate removal of your party from the premises without a refund.
