Meet Jade & Joanne
Jade and Joanne joined the Attwell Farm family in 2022, and they have quickly become visitor favorites with their charming personalities and playful antics.
🌟 Jade – The more outgoing of the two, always keen to interact with staff and guests.
🌟 Joanne – A bit more reserved, but she still loves a good scratch behind the ears!
🏡 Winter Months – Cozy and safe in the Animal Barn, where they stay warm and well cared for.
🌿 Summer Months – Out in their paddock behind the cattle barn, which can be seen along the Paddock Walk. Here, they have plenty of space to roam, dig, and enjoy the sunshine!
🐖 Ancient Breed! – Tamworth pigs are one of the oldest British pig breeds, dating back to the 19th century. Originally bred for foraging, they thrive in outdoor environments!
🐖 Great for Free-Range Farming! – These pigs are known for their resilience and hardiness, making them perfect for free-range living.
🐖 Distinctive Coat! – Their red coats are unique to the breed and help protect them from the sun, making them well-suited for outdoor life.
🐖 Friendly Nature! – Tamworth pigs are curious and affectionate. Jade and Joanne love a scratch or some food and always enjoy meeting visitors.
🐖 Very Intelligent! – These pigs are highly intelligent, with great problem-solving skills. They love to root around in their paddock, exploring and foraging.
