What Happens On The Day?

    Relax and enjoy a fully hosted celebration! Your Party Host will greet you on arrival, guide you through the fun, and make sure everything runs smoothly. After your tour and party room time, you and your guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the farm park until we close.

Decide which package is right for your child — a fully hosted celebration with a Party Host or a flexible DIY option where you take the lead. Think about your child’s age, the size of your group, and the kind of day they’ll enjoy most.

Choose Your Date and Time


Pick a date and time that works best for you. Parties run in 2-hour slots, and you’re welcome to enjoy the farmafter your booking. Popular times (like weekends and school holidays) get snapped up quickly, so we recommend booking early!

Confirm Your Guest Numbers


Both packages require a minimum of 10 children. If you’re not sure exactly how many guests will be joining, don’t worry — you can book with the minimum number and add more children later once your RSVPs are confirmed. Having a clear idea closer to the day helps us prepare the right amount of food and seating.

Wait for Your Confirmation Email


Once your booking has been processed, you’ll receive a confirmation email with access to your Party Portal. Here you can upload your guest list, select food options, and submit any allergy or dietary details.

What’s in a Bongos Lunchbox?

Each Participating Child Guest will have a Bongos Lunchbox added to their ticket.

What’s inside?


•    Sandwich (Ham, Jam, Cheese or Chocolate spread)
•    Crisps (Golden Wonder Animal Adventures)
•    Sweets
•    Jelly
•    Juice Carton (Orange or Apple)

Once your party is confirmed you will have access to your Party Portal, where you can edit your guestlist. When you add a participating child guest, it will give you an option to add a sandwich choice, followed by a declaration for any allergies or dietary requirements for the specific child.

It is your responsibility to acquire all the correct information regarding allergies and dietary requirements for your guests 48 hours prior to your birthday party.

Can we have extra guests like siblings and extra adults?

Certainly, you can invite extra nonparticipating guests to the party. You have several options for accommodating them:

  • You can include them in your booking before the 48-hour cutoff.

  • You can pay for them on the day of the party.

  • Alternatively, they can pay for themselves upon entry to the farm.

Please ensure that you inform your guests about our policy, which requires additional guests not on the guest list to pay the standard admission price for that day.

Each participating child is entitled to have one free accompanying adult with their entry, In cases where additional guests arrive with participating guests at the ticket office, we will communicate with you in advance. We'll discuss whether you'd like to cover the cost for these additional guests or if you prefer them to pay for themselves. This approach helps avoid any confusion or uncomfortable situations.

For instance, if a participating child arrives with two adults, one of those adults will be required to pay the standard entry price.

It's important to note that additional nonparticipating child guests won't receive the same extras as party children, including food, animal feed, a free adult, and a return pass. They will simply pay for entry to the farm and can join the tour and experiences, but the extras won't be available to them.

Can we have exclusive use of areas in the farm park?

Yes! 🎉 When you book a Party Room package, you’ll enjoy exclusive use of your own private party room during your chosen time slot:

  • 10:30am – 12:30pm

  • 2:30pm – 4:30pm

It’s the perfect space for celebrating, singing happy birthday, and making memories with your guests. The rest of the farm park will still be open to the public, so after your party you can head out and enjoy all the animals and play areas together.

What about children under 2? Do they count, and are there different rules for them?

Under-2s count as participating children and must be paid for at the participating child rate.

An under-2 can attend as a non-participating guest, but they will not receive any of the party inclusions. For example, a non-participating child guest would not receive the free adult entry, party food, animal feed, or return pass.

Please note, your party must still have at least 10 paying participating children to go ahead.

When do you need to know things like final numbers, allergies, and food choices?

Please ensure that all necessary information for your party is uploaded to the online portal no later than 48 hours prior to the start of your event. The online portal will automatically lock at the 48-hour mark and will charge any additional costs accordingly at that point. It is crucial that you provide us with your Guest List, Sandwich Order, as well as any Allergies and Dietary Requirements within this timeframe.

Kindly note that it is your responsibility to supply us with this information. Failure to provide a sandwich order or guest list before your party start time will result in us being unable to prepare your food, and your party will be arranged based on the information available on your guest list. Your guest list will be automatically processed and confirmed at the 48-hour mark prior to your party's commencement. Please ensure that you have gathered all the necessary details before this deadline.

When do we pay the remaining balance?

Upon booking your party, a deposit for 10 children is required. The remaining balance will be automatically deducted 48 hours prior to the start of your event using the bank card used at the point of booking, but you also have the option to make this payment earlier if you prefer.

In the event of a declined payment method and no communication from you before the day of your party, your reservation will be cancelled, and the non-refundable deposit will not be reimbursed. Can I bring my own cake?

Of course! 🎂 You’re very welcome to bring along your own birthday cake (we don’t provide cakes as part of our packages). To help with the celebration, we’ll have a knife ready for cutting and a lighter for those all-important candles — so you can focus on making wishes and enjoying the party!

If you’d prefer not to bring your own cake, we also have a delicious selection of tray bakes and cake slices available to purchase from our food outlet.

Can we bring Alcohol to the Farm?

No — for the safety and enjoyment of all our visitors, alcohol is not permitted anywhere on the premises. If alcohol is brought on site, you will be asked to remove it, dispose of it, or leave the farm.

On some occasions, we work with approved outside caterers who are licensed to provide alcohol under a Temporary Event Notice. Only these businesses are permitted to supply or distribute alcohol at the farm.

Can we decorate the party room and use music?

Yes – you’re welcome to decorate the party room for your celebration. We just ask that you return it to its original condition at the end of your party. The room is also equipped with a sound system that can connect via Bluetooth, USB, or play our party playlist.

Can we order extra food or snacks?

Yes—pizzas, chips, squash, ice lollies, etc., can be pre-ordered. Additional food is also available on the day from Farmer Jo’s Kitchen.

Party Setup & What to Bring

You can access your party room 30 minutes early to decorate. We provide fairy lights, rustic tables, a Bluetooth sound system, and party essentials. Bring party bags, tableware, cake, candles, and your favourite playlist if you wish!

Paying for Your Party

Will there be food and drink available?

Yes! Our Coffee Shop & Farmer Jo’s Kitchen serves a variety of hot and cold food, drinks, and snacks on site. ☕🍔🥪

  • Hot food is served until 4:00pm on weekdays

  • Until 5:00pm on weekends, school holidays, and special events

After this time, you can still enjoy freshly made pizzas alongside a range of cold food options.

When is the final guest list and food choices due?

Guest lists and Food Orders must be submitted at least 48 hours before the party via the Party Portal.

What’s the difference between the Hosted and DIY packages?

Hosted: full support, animal encounters, structured activities guided by a Party Host.

DIY: flexible, self-led, but still includes access to facilities and animal feed.

Birthday Party

Terms & Conditions

Booking Confirmation: Your party is only confirmed once you receive a confirmation email from us. This usually takes up to 24 hours (excluding weekends). If your chosen date isn’t available, your deposit will be refunded.

Deposit & Payment: A non-refundable deposit, equal to the cost of 10 children, is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be charged automatically 48 hours before your party using the same card you booked with. If payment fails and no contact is made with us beforehand, your booking will be cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded.

Party Portal Access: Once your party is confirmed, you’ll gain access to the Party Portal. Through this, you can edit your guest list, select food choices, and record allergy or dietary requirements. All such details must be submitted at least 48 hours before your party begins, after which no edits can be made.

Guest Numbers: All parties have a minimum charge of 10 children, even if fewer attend, and a maximum of 35 children unless agreed otherwise with our office. Final guest numbers must be confirmed 48 hours before your party. Children added on the day will only be admitted at standard admission and will not receive party extras such as food, a free adult, animal feed, or return passes.

Adult & Additional Guests: Each participating child includes one free adult entry, and the birthday child includes two free adult entries. Any additional adults or guests will be charged at the standard admission rate. Non-participating children may attend at standard entry but will not receive party inclusions.

Food & Allergies: Each participating child receives a party lunchbox. It is your responsibility to provide accurate food choices and allergy information at least 48 hours before your party. If this is not received, we will provide a standard mix of ham and cheese sandwiches for all participating children. Any late additions may have limited food choices, and dietary needs cannot be guaranteed at short notice. Additional food can be purchased from Farmer Jo’s Kitchen on the day.

DIY vs Hosted Party Options: For DIY parties, you choose how to use your two-hour slot, whether in the party room, exploring the farm, or enjoying the play areas. For hosted parties, a Party Host will lead your group through animal encounters, assist with food service, and provide support such as cake-cutting tools as set out in your package.

Arrival & Room Access Times: Party hosts may access the room 30 minutes before the start time to set up. Guests should arrive at least 15 minutes early, and parties will begin promptly even if all guests have not yet arrived.

Room Hire & Condition: The party room is included for the duration of your party. Please ensure it is left clean and tidy using the bins provided. Additional cleaning or damage may result in a charge.

Membership Policy: Farm memberships do not include birthday parties, and all bookings are charged at standard party rates.

Schedules & Documents: Once your booking is confirmed, party schedules and related documents such as invitations will be made available. These may be subject to change without notice.

Health, Safety & Conduct: All guests must follow our Health & Safety guidelines and Code of Conduct at all times. Mistreatment of staff, animals, facilities, or other guests will result in immediate removal without refund. Parties must also comply with our standard entry rules and pricing conditions.

Supervision Responsibility: Parents and guardians remain responsible for supervising children at all times, including in the play areas. Attwell staff support with activities but do not take over supervision responsibilities.

Weather Policy: The farm remains open in all weather conditions, and outdoor activities will continue unless deemed unsafe. We recommend guests dress appropriately for the weather.

Non-Refundable Policy: All party deposits are strictly non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another booking. If you cancel your party less than 48 hours before the scheduled start time, the full remaining balance will still be due. In the unlikely event that Attwell Farm Park must cancel your party due to extreme weather, staff shortages, or animal welfare concerns, you will be offered either an alternative date or a full refund.
