Animal Barn
Meet the Animals in Our Indoor Animal Barn!
Step inside the heart of Attwell Farm Park and say hello to the stars of the show — our Animal Barn residents! This cozy indoor space is home to a wonderful mix of friendly farm animals, all waiting to meet you. It’s the perfect spot to get up close, learn about their care, and experience real farm life whatever the weather.
From soft-snouted pigs and curious goats to elegant ponies and fluffy alpacas, the Animal Barn offers an authentic glimpse into the daily life of the farm — full of character, warmth, and charm.
A Cozy Home for Our Animals
Horses & Ponies
Our horses and ponies enjoy the best of both worlds — in summer they graze outdoors overnight and return to the barn during the day to escape the heat and flies, while in winter they stay snug and warm inside.
Pigs
Catch our pigs dozing happily in their straw beds or snuffling around for snacks. They love to relax, play, and show off their personalities!
Llamas & Alpacas
These gentle, fluffy residents are always a visitor favourite. You’ll often find them watching curiously from their pens, enjoying a bit of attention from new friends.
Goats & More!
Our cheeky goats are full of energy and character — always climbing, exploring, and making visitors laugh. You’ll also meet playful donkeys and a few other barnyard favourites!
Our Milking Cow
Learn about traditional dairy farming and discover how cows are milked — a great educational stop for families and school groups alike.
The Tractor
A big hit with visitors of all ages! Climb up, explore the driver’s seat, and imagine working the fields just like a real farmer.
Seasonal Changes
Winter Shelter
In the colder months, the Animal Barn becomes a warm, bustling hub as all the animals from the Paddock Walk move indoors for comfort and care. It’s the perfect time to see the whole farm up close and learn how we keep them healthy through winter.
Summer Retreat
When warmer weather arrives, most of our animals head outdoors to the paddocks for fresh air and sunshine. The barn may be quieter at times, but you’ll still find several residents inside — especially those escaping the midday heat!
