Local Community

Cultivating community through farm-based charity, work experience and local partnerships

More Than Just

A Day Out

Attwell Farm Park has always been more than a day out. As a family-run farm rooted in Beoley, we work hand-in-hand with local schools, colleges, charities and community groups — creating opportunities, raising funds for causes close to our hearts, and looking after the countryside on our doorstep.

A young Suffolk lamb with a dark face and ears stands on golden straw beside its mother inside a barn. The lamb looks directly toward the camera, appearing alert and curious, while its mother is partly visible in the background.

Our Commitment

Community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe our success extends beyond our gates, and with it a responsibility to give something back. That's why we work closely with local schools, businesses and organisations — building strong relationships, creating learning opportunities, supporting local causes, and caring for the environment around us.

Charity & Giving Back

We make regular donations of produce and supplies to local food banks, sponsor educational initiatives and community groups, and get behind local fundraising — from our Ukraine appeal to community bike rides and village events here in Beoley.

Molly Olly Wishes

Our partnership with Molly Olly's Wishes is deeply personal to the Attwell family. The charity supports children with terminal or life-limiting illnesses, helping with their emotional wellbeing and granting wishes.

Dontate Here
Three smiling farm staff, two women and one man, sit on straw inside a barn surrounded by sheep. Each person is wearing a burgundy jacket and holding a young black-faced lamb in their arms. More sheep and lambs are visible in the background, with ear tags marking them for identification. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, showing hands-on care for the animals.

Work Experience & Supported Employment

Opening a door to the world of work

We're proud to offer work experience placements for students, adults, and people with neurodiverse needs, working in collaboration with local schools, colleges, universities and Mencap. Placements at the farm offer genuine hands-on experience — animal care, visitor welcome, catering, grounds and maintenance — in a supportive, real-world environment.

Our partnership with the DWP

Working alongside the Department for Work and Pensions, we run two-week placements designed to build confidence and practical employability skills. Participants take part in mock interviews, receive performance reviews, and get help creating a CV — and we actively encourage them to apply for roles here at the farm when vacancies come up.
