Meet Elma

Elma is our stunning 16.2hh British Sports Horse, known for her playful and cheeky personality!

Born on 6th June 2006, she joined the farm in 2018 and belongs to Farmer Jade, who has owned her since 2012. Over the years, Jade and Elma have competed in local riding club shows, including dressage, show jumping, and showing.

In 2024, Elma became a mum to Obi, a beautiful chestnut colt. She was an incredible mother, taking great care of him until he was weaned in November 2024. Weaning is an important stage in a foal’s development, helping them grow independent and adjust to a diet without their mother’s milk.

Obi now lives on one of our other farms, where he has made a best friend in Otto, another foal his age. The pair will grow up together, learning from each other as they mature.
